Grilling Rub

There are many ways to make an amazing Grilling Rub. The key here is what your cooking of course. When you decide what your cooking, then you can better choose the ingredients. Truly almost anything can be used as a Grilling Rub. A lot of people like good old fashioned season salt or even just some cajun spices sprinkled about. Other choices include a specific brand designed to just be a Grilling Rub. A lot of the "TV" Chefs have there own lines, including Emeril Lagasse and even my very own favorite person to watch Chef Gordon Ramsey.

If your more adventurous you can create your own just by adding your own "secret spices" Just remember there is no Right or Wrong, if you like it roll with it! When creating your own you have tons of control. For instance if your making a BBQ Sauce you can control the Heat, the sweetness and flavor. Just remember to keep trying it and trying it as you go along. Start with less because you can always add ingredients, but its very hard to take things away.

I have actually had to throw away and start my Grilling Rub over because I didn't try it along the way. What a waste of time that was for me. After you have created your masterpiece Grilling Rub, its time to add it to your meat, fish, or what ever it is that we are going to create. I like to let the Grilling Rub soak for at least 1 hour. I sometimes let it sit over night for some intense BBQ flavor.
